XP 500
Cardboard Finishing
The XP500 line is designed to varnish, laminate and die cut a 500 mm wide web on both sides in one process. It integrates with the Xeikon 5000 digital press and forms a full production line for post cards, brochures and many other products. The end product is placed on a conveyer or packed in boxes at the end of the line.
The XP500 Converter has been designed and built to optimize printing production. Digital presses are not designed to handle the finishing and converting processes that are required for most printing solutions. If you’re already in the digital printing business, you’ve probably discovered that producing a fully finished product often involves switching between different printing units.
The value-added processes you need to complete your solution are probably completed off-line on independent converters a need that contradicts the efficiencies that digital printing is designed to improve.
